AGR Software took part in the International Mining Conference “Barents Arctic Economic Partnership” held in Kirovsk (Murmansk region) on November 16-17, 2023.

The key area of focus at the conference was the development of the mining sphere in Arctic, and how to identify internal and external growth drivers.

As one of the speakers, Rostislav Bilik, Director General at AGR Software, read a paper “Digital exploration empowered by the AGR technology. From product to digital transformation in industry”. The presentation was closely interrelated with the speech by Stanislav Poplavsky, Innovation Director for Mining and Metallurgy at the Skolkovo Foundation.

From this year on, Skolkovo is actively working on promoting its residents among biggest mining companies, both in Russia and internationally. With the AGR project listed among the landmark projects of the Russian Federation and the company itself being the major vendor of the Industrial Center of Competence “Subsoil use and Geological Exploration”, collaboration with Skolkovo makes the AGR technology more widespread, which in turn has a positive impact on overall digitization of the mining industry.

The AGR system not only boosts performance of an enterprise, but contributes much to accumulating big data, including highly detailed geological and geotechnical information of superior quality. As a result, there appear much more opportunities for optimization of production processes, tech innovations, and leveling up one’s employees expertise.
