The 14th Mining & Exploration Forum MINEX Russia 2018 took place on 2-4 October in Moscow and was devoted to building up innovative excellence in mining and exploration. The Forum annually brings together over 500 heads of industrial companies from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, countries of the European Economic Community, China, North America, Southeast Asia and Australia. This year the key question under discussion was effective development of industry players based on cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies.

The AGR system is an important component in the hi-tech process of obtaining primary geological and geotechnical data which totally corresponds with global automation and digital trends. The advanced solutions for automated project management represented at the AGR stand aroused intense interest among industry specialists.

Within one of the Forum sessions Rostislav Bilik, Director General at AGR Software, made the presentation “Preparing primary geological data for a successful transition to the Digital Mine concept”. In the keynote speech he touched on the issues of step-by-step transition to the total automation in handling primary geological data. He also focused on requirements for modern software architecture, which should be equally effective when working with various data sources and should enhance automation in terms of integration with external systems without significant alterations.
