The AGR 4 information system was introduced at 12th Russian Mining and Exploration Forum (Minex-2016) that took place in Moscow on October 5-6th.

An opportunity to rent the system (including Data Management module in SaaS model) aroused great interest among mining and service companies. The AGR system has become available for rent since May 2016. This fact enables the company’s clients to considerably reduce purchasing and operating costs. Moreover, small and medium businesses need no longer have own IT department to administer industry servers. Taking AGR for rent is especially crucial for exploration projects based on seasonal works (as abolishment of rental charges is possible during drilling).

During the Forum Director General of «AGR Software» made a report named «AGR and meeting the requirements of «Law of Subsoil» in terms of geological data». It outlined how the AGR system complies with the revised law (revision as of 01.01.2016, N 205-FL dated 29.06.2015). In particular, the system provides the required technological base, digital data format to store, exchange and represent raw geological data, and features the functionality to submit data to the Unified Fund of Geological Data.
