What personal data we collect and why we collect it
For effective user experience our site uses “cookies,” small text files placed on users’ computers to analyze user activity. They allow us to identify authorized users in order to make it possible to view sections of the site that are hidden from third-party visitors. All cookies are stored in your browser and do not contain information that allows access to your personal data.
We set cookies to store your selected language. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices.
In the case that the website needs to redirect a visitor or any request, it may use a cookie to prevent repeated/infinite redirect loops.
On our site, the ability to register third-party users, as well as commenting on articles and writing custom articles, is completely disabled. This excludes the collection of any personalized information about our visitors. If you just went to our site from the Internet, only anonymized data will be stored in cookies, including the session ID (required for web analytics), screen parameters (for the correct display of content) and the selected language.
Adding registered users is done by the site administration. For the registered users, we store only the personal information that is indicated in the profile. This information is provided by the users themselves when requesting access to their personal account, and includes:
- Full name of the user
- E-mail address
No other information about registered users is collected or stored on our website. All users can request to view, change or remove their profile information at any time (except for their username). This information can only be seen by the user and the administration of the website. Only the administration of the website can change this information.
If you send us a message using the feedback form, the data you specified will be contained in an email message that will be sent to our managers by email. This data includes:
- User-specified name
- E-mail address
- Phone (if available)
- Message contents
Our site does not store and does not process the data provided by you in the feedback form. After that, managers work with the received email message as with a regular letter.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. This is required to ensure the safety of our users in the event of a breach through their accounts.
