The AGR project was highly praised by the jury members after being presented at the Scientific and Technical Council at ALROSA on February 9th 2017.

According to Alexander Chaadaev, Vice-President for Innovation at ALROSA, the corporation has been running contests of innovative projects over the years. It’s an important activity as the mining industry is quite static and cutting edge projects appear not that often. “We annually consider some 100 projects, however, just few get through to the final round”, he added. That’s why we are delighted the AGR project was appreciated and recommended for use at ALROSA’s mining companies.
