On October 4–5th, the 19th International Mining & Exploration Forum MINEX Russia was held under the slogan “Transformation of the Mining and Metal Industry as a Marathon of Opportunities”
This year the show enjoyed more than 3000 visitors and 70 exhibiting companies, AGR Software LLC being one of the exhibitors and the intellectual partner of the Forum. Our company participated in three sessions and applied two of its projects to the announced competition. Both of them were shortlisted and awarded bronze in the MineFuture nomination.
Ekaterina Zakandykina, as one of the speakers at the plenary session “Anti-crisis trends in the industry. Risks and opportunities”, shared in her report “IT in Russian subsoil use: trends and changes” the vision of the pathway approach to digital sovereignty in the industry. Within the session, new trends in IT were outlined, and possible collaboration between subsoil users, IT and government authorities were discussed.
Mikhail Kornilov, Development Director, gave speech at the session “Innovative approaches and digital transformation in the geological industry: from personnel training to field development” which was arranged by Central Geological Research Institute for Nonferrous and Precious Metals. The presentation “Digital support for prospecting” showed the effectiveness of the modern solutions that are created by AGR Software for exploration.
Rostislav Bilik, Director General, took part in the session “Complex delivery of advanced IT and digital solutions to mining and metallurgical enterprises” sponsored by GEOMIX. In the paper “AGR technology as an integration platform for mining projects automation” he spotlighted the project with Rosgeo JSC, where the AGR system has already been deployed, and integration of surrounding IT systems to the platform is currently in progress. Milestones of the project and services roadmap till 2025 were also covered in details.
As part of the conference program, a significant contest of digital technologies MINEXcellence was arranged, featuring three nominations – MineDigital, MineTech, and MineFuture. AGR Software with its AGR project presented by Rostislav Bilik is proud to have won the third place prize in the MineFuture nomination.
The main prize in the MineDigital nomination was awarded to Pavel Solovyov (Rosgeo JSC) and the project “Comprehensive platform for automation of geological exploration of solid minerals”, with the AGR platform as part of the solution.
It’s worth mentioning that the AGR project was listed among the landmark projects of the Russian Federation (project #203132) and is being realized under the federal project “Digital Technologies” of the Digital Economy national program, and Industrial Competence Center “Subsoil use. Exploration” which is headed by Sergey Gorkov, Director General and Chairman of the Board at Rosgeo JSC.
