AGR Software became a participant of the X International Conference “Mining Industry in the Barents Euro-Arctic Region: View To The Future” (IMIC BEAR), focused on Digitalization of the Mining Industry in the Arctic. The conference took place on November 18-19, 2021. AGR Software gave an overview of its achievements in digitalization of the mining industry by delivering a speech devoted to the digital core and an automated workstation for a logging geologist.

The conference run under the auspices of the Non-profit Partnership “Russian Mining Operators” and support of the Government of the Murmansk Region.

Among key organizers were the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Murmansk Region, the Kola Science Center of Russian Academy of Sciences and the Euro-Arctic Chamber of Commerce. 7 countries took part in the event, including Norway, Finland, Sweden, Belarus, Germany, the Czech Republic and Russia.

Adopting the digital core concept is an essential stage of digital transformation of the Russian mining industry. Within the Conference, AGR Software demonstrated its know-how and offered a wise-step approach to digitalization of core handling processes.
